ABOUT ME

             I was born in Pasadena California and I have lived in California all of my life.   The  only exception is the time I lived in Tempe, Arizona while attending Arizona State, and a period of about three years living in Seattle, Washington.   I am currently retired and live in Northern California.

             My professional life has been one of varied interests and varied  vocations.  My first job was working in the engineering department of an aerospace company designing rocket engine's.  This was followed by owning my own construction company building custom homes.  Then there was the land development ventures.  The pace changes here and I worked in the engineering department of a company that manufactured explosive devices. This became boring so I went back to the construction business and started my own construction company, which lead to the involvement in "clean room" design for the semi-conductor industry. Following this I became a stock broker for a national firm. 

All of this covers a period of about 30 years, at which point I took a year off to travel and enjoy myself.  The year off has now become 20 years and, with the exception of some part time work in the golf industry, I have not labored in the work place. Seems as though I can't hold a steady job.

        My hobbies include the study of history, mostly England, and particle physics, a true dilettante in that field.

         When not involved in pursuing one of the above interests I devote all available time to trying to master the game of golf, an endeavor that to date I have been extremely unsuccessful.  But hope springs eternal.

             On the personal side, I am the father of five children, three biological and two by adoption.  One was killed in an airplane accident, one has some personal issues associated with the 60's, and three are doing just outstanding in their respective lives both professionally and personally.  I am married to what I feel is the greatest woman around, and together we have a  female Maltese dog and two male Poodles and a  half breed found on the golf course.

               I will monitor and amend this web site as time goes by with deletions and additions.  Therefore if you don't find any thing of interest now, come back later and check for new stuff that might be of interest.
